"Pierce, an 18-year-old from Fort Smith, is a vibrant young man with a love for learning and performing. His favorite activities include visiting the library, singing in the Conway Human Development Center (CHDC) Talent Show, and talking about Star Wars. At CHDC, he thrives in a structured and supportive environment that allows him to grow at his own pace. He has built strong connections with both his peers and staff, who continue to encourage his development. Pierce is a shining example of the importance of early intervention, a strong village of support, and finding the right resources to meet a person's needs. His family is incredibly grateful to the entire team at CHDC for helping him be his best every day. "
